Antiseptic Films was on a good run. They expertly exploited their releases, choosing the right themes that piqued movie goers' morbid curiosities to become a thriving company. That string of successful releases would end abruptly, as their next film was a bit of a stretch.
PLOT: Judith, a small-town girl meets, falls in love and marries Roger, a used car salesman. Their marriage is all peaches and cream until Roger's work life starts to wreak havoc on their home life.
Used car salesmen haven't had the best reputation over the years, but Roger and his cronies are a pack of obnoxious, fast-talking wolves in ill-fitting suits, that love to booze and brawl. Worse for Judith, Roger brings his bad behavior home and starts to make her life a living hell.
Antiseptic's final two releases, BROKEN CURFEWS, BUSTED HEADS (1956) and WANTON AT A WEENIE ROAST (1958) had minimal releases and did so-so box office.
Antiseptic Films, faced with fewer and fewer playdates, closed up shop in 1959.
